Privacy Notice – Your personal data in our app

We care about your privacy. This notice explains in simple terms what personal information we collect when you register, why we use it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

What personal data we collect

When you create an account we collect and store the following information:

Your name
Your email address
The date and time you registered
The date and time you confirmed your registration
The date and time of your last login

Why we collect and use this information (purpose & legal basis)

We process your data for the following main reasons:

Purpose	Legal basis (GDPR)
Create and manage your user account	Necessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Let you log in and use extra features	Necessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Send important service emails (e.g. password reset, account changes)	Necessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Keep the app secure & detect abuse	Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

We do not use your data for marketing unless you give us separate, explicit permission.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your account data while your account is active.

After you delete your account (or ask us to delete it), we usually remove your personal data within 30 days, unless we need to keep certain information longer because of legal obligations (for example accounting or fraud prevention rules).

Who else gets to see your data?

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share it only in these limited situations:

With hosting / cloud / database providers (they act only on our instructions)
With email delivery services (only if we send you service emails)
If required by law, court order or public authorities
In case of merger, acquisition or sale of (part of) our business

All these parties are required to protect your data.

Your rights (very important!)

Under EU/EEA data protection law (GDPR) you have the following rights:

Right to know what data we hold about you
Right to get a copy of your data
Right to correct inaccurate data
Right to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restrict processing in some situations
Right to object to certain processing
Right to data portability (get your data in a common format)

You can exercise these rights at any time by emailing us at robert@dappvisory.com.

We usually answer within one month.

You can also delete your account directly in the app settings – this will trigger deletion of your personal data (subject to the exceptions explained above).

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens – www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. We will inform you about important changes (for example by email or in-app message).
